Here I was told that NewEgg has a no leave policy on UPS as well as Fedex. I chose UPS because I heard about Fedex but UPS told me yesterday they have that restriction with NE as well.
So here I wait til after the time I would have been home from school normally anyway since they delivered the first two times before I would have been home (it was delivered the first time a day early when I was asleep during the day, not expecting it).

I just received a rattle at my back door. I get up wondering...is that supposed to be a knock?...since I had a note on the front to go there.

I get to the back and see the shadow of a guy leaving. I open the door to find my box trying desperately to hide under my doormat.

What the hell is up with that??!! Why couldn't they have done that on Friday, the first delivery day??!!

Fed Ex has been dropping signature required packages on my front door and then the tracking shows "Confirmantion signature on file." Well no I didn't tell them they could leave my packages without a signature, in fact I had them check over the phone and they have no signature on file for me.

They apologized and offered to do my next shipment for free.

I hadn't heard of this policy. Where we live right now, we just have the UPS guy drop the stuff on the porch. He typically doesn't even knock. FedEx will leave things for you if you fill out a form and leave it on file with the local delivery warehouse. Once they have it, they will the the package where you specify on your property
