tiscali have just pushed the final button
tiscali are a ADSL broad band provider in this country. heres my experience
*Signed up the the Tiscali UNLIMITED, READ: U N L I M I T E D 2meg service in october.
*it takes them 3 weeks longer than they said to actually connect us, then a further 2 weeks to actually get us decent speeds....300k downstream 0k up isnt 2mb down 192k up
*all the calls placed to tiscalis down right INEPT customer support are charged at an extorsionate rate. first telephone bill £60+
*finally give up on them , with net running 1.4Mbit/150k ish, service regularly just drops, requiring a router reboot to reconnect.
*Tiscali sent us a letter to day saying that we use too much bandwidth, and are being moved into a group with other high usage people, ie we share bandwidth with other heavy users, AKA our internet is going back to 56k speed during the day. how they figure this when our service regularly cuts out at least 5 times a day i dont know.
they say every customer has the right to a quality service, and that we are some how reducing that quality by being in a student house and using the net.
*they can eat it....were cancelling the contract.
the service they provided us has NEVER worked as advertised, its advertised as UNLIMITED UASAGE, and clearly its not since were getting cut down, and they expect us to still pay through the nose for it and the tech support! CHEEKY ****** ASS HOLES :disgust::|
so this is how tiscali produce a a internet serivce....instead of spending money making sure their infastructure can cope with the demand, they simple castrate the people who use it the most.
TISCALI......IF YOU WANT TO PROVIDE EVERYONE WITH A QUALITY SERVICE....GET YOUR ****** WALLET OUT AND SPEND SOME ****** MONEY YOU TIGHT FISTED LITTLE CUM STAINS
