Damn Time Warner

They are doing the switch over from adelphia to TW. My connection has been going on and off. :|

I just found out the worst thing has happened. TW changed the newsgroup server. :|:|:|

adelphia had a crappy newsgroup service, so they get newsgroup service from giganews with a 5gb monthly cap. I was satisfied with their 90 days retention. now, I only have 2 days retention from TW. the 5gb cap is effective too.

I am switching over to verizon naked dsl.

Time Warner is in the process of switching to NewsHosting as their outsourced usenet provider, 70 days retention and no cap.

time warner also sucks at getting people out to their places for technical support, unlike their commercials that they ran a while back.

i've been trying to get someone out to my place to fix my cable tv since jan 11th. Still not fixed. Switching to directv ftw!
