When I was in 8th grade, I went to Duke University's TIP program at the Center for Language and culture. There were all sorts of genuises there.
During the talent show, some nerdy kid said he would solve a Rubiks cube in 2 minutes, and he passed the cube around the audience for them to totally mess it up. There were about two-hundred people in the audience and most of them got about 20 seconds or so to screw with it. I really mangled that cube.
Anyway, towards the end of the show, the kid asked for the cube, which was most of the way back in the audience. He picked up the cube, played with it for 2 minutes, and it was solved.
