i'm trying to dismantle a Mac IIci, and i swear these things are impossible(without breaking at least) i'm trying to see if there is a battery somewhere... there is a lock on the computer and my friend can't remember the pasword :| i tried holding shift to disable all of the extensions, but it didn't work. i don't have a boot disk either :( i think the program is called Empower, but i'm not sure. anyways, does anyone know how to get the PS out?

Throwing it against a wall, or using a sledgehammer usually works.

oh, man a IIci?? wow i got a stack of those thing I use as Doorstops!! I thought I was behind with my PMac7200!! Just kidding, I know a guy who still does 2-track Audio Editing on one, and 16 Track MIDI Automation. I guess somethings still have a use!! The Power Supply should just lift right out, and the Battery has a Black Cover on it, it should snap right out. The Password is probally stored on the Boot Sector of the Hard Drive, though, Lame........
