HostingMountain.com (expires today) $17.90/yr (400MB/6GB)
RippleHost.com (expires soon) $5/yr (100MB/1GB)
AddAction.net (best deal) $9.95 setup fee, 6 months free, $6.95/mo afterwards (500MB/10GB HOLY SH!T THEY JUST DOUBLED THE BANDWIDTH WOOHOO, THESE GUYS HOST MY FORUMS!!!)

Seeing as AddAction just DOUBLED the bandwidth (it was 5GB/mo yesterday I swear) I'd definitely go with them works out to $4.30/mo

Damn!

Does sound cool, but I am a total cheap b@stard. 🙂 The 5/yr is about my level but i could swing the 17.90/yr if its 17.90 every year not just for this first year..... The addaction.net does sound pretty sweet, but its overkill for me putzing around with websites and i really can't justify the 7 bucks/month...

sigh

Then it sounds like RippleHost is perfect for you.

100MB webspace and 1GB bandwidth is quite adequate for a small personal/hobby website.

Good luck, do you have a URL already?

Have you ever gone to a get a domain only to find out its already registered and is being resold? The name I want wants an offer to buy it from them, probably something ridiculous but I sent them an email to see

Sure...own 3.

www.foose.net (hosting off my own box for a few years but want a bit more).
www.geekspeeds.com
www.tech-gurus.net

I would go with Ripplehost...they do sound nice, but they severly limit the number of hosts and pop mail addresses you can use. Sigh...decisions decisions. I might just keep hosting it off my own linux box on my DSL connection 😛
