Ordered a refurb Belkin 4 port Broadband router a few days ago and it was DOA when I got it. Called in and they shipping a replacement free of charge and they said I could keep the old one in case I wanted to try to get it working by doing an internal reset. The guy even gave me a few tips of how to do it. 🙂

HP did that for me once, except it was with a $300 JetDirect card. Their flash software had this weird bug that only occured with a very rare combination , and it turns out I had and did everything to encounter that bug, which killed the card (no fault of my own, just a bizzare coincidence). I called HP to try and get an RMA, they told me to keep it, because they knew it was a bug in the software and they'd just next day me a new card.
 
Yeah, Belkin has awesome CS. Called and told them i had a bad keyboard, they told me to go to Staples and i picked one up for free!!!

Kewlio! Just got done performing the hard reset and it's working like a champ! My replacement has already shipped too. Hopefully this one will stay working. 🙂
 
Logitech did that for me once with their wireless keyboard and mouse combo. The mouse wouldn't work, so the sent me out a new combo. I got to keep the old one, so I got 2 keyboards and a mouse and two receivers for the price of one! 😀
