The only difference is the ads. Both subscribers and non-subscribers have the full text search as well as 1000 PM limits.

Frankly I don't even see ads any more... I guess I've seen them for so long that they don't register any more. There's some psych term to describe this that I cannot recall.

Its not like subscription is an option anymore.. I just couldn't stand having everything shifted to the right because of ads on the left. I still have to put up with the ads when I am at work (have to use IE), so its not like I don't see them. I'd just rather not when I'm relaxing at my personal machine. I doubt I"m the only one here that does that...

Same here.

My subscription expired 5 months ago and it was unbearable at first (PM limit was only 100). Then it was bumped to 800 and recently to 1000.

Just ignore the ads and life goes on.
