I believe the numbers... but that's only cuz sony didn't have as many consoles released at launch. Nintendo didn't have any riots or stabbings for their consoles, so I guess it boils down to what the masses have proven they'd KILL for.

Dave says it like it is. I would say Sony was owned if I could go buy one at Wal-Mart right now. But no, they sold all that they could build. But by not building enough, they probably did help sell some Wiis.Originally posted by: DaveSimmons
This might mean more if there were 700K unsold PS3s sitting in a warehouse.
Everyone who isn't living under a rock knows the Wii is easy to build because it's just a doubleclocked Gamecube with a new controller. Nothing wrong with that, but it means Nintendo can crank out the old tech by the millions while bleeding edge Sony is struggling to build the PS3 in volume.

HUUUUUGE QFT.
Hands down.

And I'm sure if AMD could double clock their CPU's they'd beat Intel. It's easy right? I mean Nintendo could do it. -_-

Wii is just a die shrink and clock increase of the GC's now very slow 485 MHz CPU and 162 MHz GPU. If you think making a 1 GHz processor was hard then you must still be living back in 2001![]()

I'm sure copying the motion sensing was really hard for Sony too. =/
