I just got off the phone with a guy from an online gift store that specializes in brownies. When he called me he had no web connectivity. I spent an hour with him, including sticking with him when he needed to have his PVC bounced at his ISP. Ended up re-flashing his router after it died halfway through our conversation as well.

He told me to send him an e-mail, & he's going to send me something.

:)

From the looks of their website this might be good.

Ive gotten hooked up with some side jobs when I helped people when I worked tech support.
You help someone for like 3 hours on the phone, call up everyone you know etc. Gives the custoemr a good impression.

Made myself about an extra 3K in a month or so, helping update C++ programs.

Viper ou have all the luck

Apparently. :)

I'm not always so helpful, but when a customer treats me well & they've been on hold for a long time I'm much more likely to go out of my way to get them up & running.

A good way to get off my phone quickly is to treat me bad.

Yeah, & I miss my money.

:p

Not really.

I'm sitting here in the dark posting & eventually doing homework, my brother's watchin' Manhunter on it.

The only problem I have so far with it is it's a heavy bitch & even though it's sitting right above the support on one of the 6' folding tables I use as desk space it tilts a tiny bit towards the center of the table. So I may have to get rid of the table & put a TV stand in. I dunno where I'm going to find a TV stand that will get it that far off the ground though, & I like having that much desk space.

That would be something to look into. If I do that I should get a receiver & left/right/center speakers too...

I have no money for that right now though, so it'll wait.

right. you don't have to get some big huge thing; there are stands that are for TV's specifically. If I were you, I'd look into a nice wooden one. They're strong, but they look good too.

So... why don't you just save up and get yourself some surround to go with that picture?

Actually, I've eaten three.

Original
Toffee Crunch
Walnut

That's all for now, I don't feel so good.

Hehe, but it was worth it was it not? Definetly worth it to me. There was no possible way of me getting that thing up to Alaska in one piece. :D Yeah man, get a DVD player and go out and buy Toy Story 2. I know, I know it is a "kids movie". But it is worth it man. Put it in, throw the TV into the 16:9 Enhanced mode and just sit there with your jaw dropped for the next hour and a half! :D
