Browsing ebay for current pricing of Q6600 cpus, as I am going to be selling mine in a few days (proven 4.0GHz overclocker on 1.5V.....3.6GHz on 1.35V).

Ran across an advert for an Asus X38 Maximus Formula......and the seller states he's "tested" this motherboard with a host of results pictured.

Unfortunately, the entire test and all his "results" he shows are just linked directly from AT's test of that exact motherboard....every image, text is just cut and pasted.

Some people have just too much gall sometimes......

Don't reviewers usually watermark/mark their charts to prevent this sort of thing?

Too bad they aren't a members pics though - goatse, 2 for 1 sales, etc.

Where is he saying HE tested it. It's obvious to anyone looking for this kind of thing these are re-printed reviews.

He also mentions being new it should work fine implying it has not been actually tested.

I see no problem except you see this higher tier chip stealing a possible buyer from your own sale and are looking for us to have him shut down.

I don't see why AT would want that. If anything it will get people checking things out here.
