Bah! I just got back my SAT I scores from this January. I'm disapointed with my Math score. Anyone else take the SAT recently?

If you're not happy with the score, you can always take the test again. Most people's score goes up at least 100 points, more if you use the study guide. The company uses the best score between the two tests you took.

When I took it a second time, I got exactly the same score I did from the first time.

Actually you can take it multiple times, only the highest score will count, not necessarily the highest between two tests. Just wanted to clear up any confusion.

I only took the test once and scored a 1360 at the time so I never bothered with it again.

Oh brother... 760? BOO-HOO...

There's more to life than SAT scores. And seeing as a 760 puts you in the >95 percentile I'd stop bitching. Take the test again if you want a better score, but there ain't much difference between a 760 and an 800.

I got a 700 in math, went to a great public school, got a great education, had the time of my life, graduated with honors and I'm really enjoying my life...

I know that the SATs seem important right now, but believe me, in five years, you (nor anyone else for that matter) is going to give a flying flip about 'em.

MHO of course...

I couldn't care less about beating other people or whatever. It just bothers me that I can't get a perfect score in math on this thing. I can't avoid dumbass mistakes.

Hey it doesn't matter. I got 1310 total and I got into UCLA. Damn straight. I am more proud that all those other people worked so hard and only go to the same place. I mean isn't it better to get the best for the least amount of work. I laugh at all those people that got 1600 and a 4.0 or 4.5 weighted and ended up in the same place. HA to all of you.

SAT score are only needed to get you into school. If you have to strive for perfection, do it in your classwork at college. At least then it will mean that you are learning the things you need to be successful in you chosen profession.

BTW, those people that go on to college and stress over things like this turn out to be real a$$holes with their holier-than-thou syndromes. They tend to push others away by making them feel inferior or insignificant. What good is doing well when you have nobody to share it with?

Take the test again, that's all I can. I'm not going to take the test at all, ever. I don't have to, unless I want to go to an American college/university... Which I don't plan on doing.

Test scores mean jack-squat. I know so many people who would get horrible SAT scores, but are extremely intelligent people. If you're unsatisfied with your SAT results just study harder and try again, you'll get it.. Anybody can, unless they're mentally deficient or something.
