Damn, randoms!

I found a machine that was not connected to the network yesterday. It had been cracking RC5 for 2.5 months. Of course, the 27,000 or so blocks it had ready amounted to only a few thousand legit blocks. Argh!

I'll pay more attention in the future.

Hey, I know what you mean.
One of my remote machine lost its ISP settings, and its 5K turned to 800 blocks...

Same stuff like that here. Unreliable cable "modems" have screwed me around quite a bit. A nice dual-P3 system pumped out about 8k randoms in less than a week. STill not sure how many of those counted!
