I've had one for a while now, and the freakin feathers (tiny little ones) get out from the duvet cover and all over my room! :disgust:

is there anyway to avoid this?

it was actually a relatively high quality..... 360 thread count, really soft

is quality the only thing that makes this happen?

When buying anything "down" make sure you read the feather content. The best down prodeucts have 0 feather content.

I HATE cheap "down" products because I always have feathers poking me. It's VERY uncomfortable.

No, that's only the density of the fabric.
