EDIT: If its any consolation I had a plug wire go on me once and it caused me car to miss like crazy. It happened one day w/o warning as I started the car to leave work. Scared the crap out of me. Took it to my buddy, he did a compression test, checked the plugs, etc. and notice the wire was arcing through the boot.

Oops. The last half of the word is kind of charred so I ASSumed it said motorcraft.
