Damn, our media sucks

It's elections in five days, and our media are once again overly biased towards the left side.. Man, I hate it. You want some examples? Here we go:

21:45
BBC reports of an imam preaching in the Netherlands. Shows footage of imam calling for the extermination of Jews, killing the Western dogs, and so on..
22:00
Dutch media reports about peace-loving imam with a sparkle in his eye (I'm not making this up) preaching to peace-loving muslims who were, of course, arrested because of racism which was covered up with a tale about how they had plans to kill our PM..

Or, another example.

2006:
The Democrats won the House of somethingsomething in America! They won, because blablabla.. *30 minute report goes here*
2004:
Oh yeah, the Republicans won. Goodbye.

And now that we've got our own elections, you see left wing politicians on every talkshow, or just about every show you can imagine. Right wing politicians are made fun of, called names, threatened by left wing politicians.. The state media (no less) 'invited' a prominent right wing leader, but he didn't want to bother with showing up. Or so they said. We only have two objective newspapers, and both commented on the politician never being invited..

Damn, I hate my country and I want to live somewhere else as soon as possible.. 🙁

So the dutch listen to the talking heads from here? This "liberal media" claim from the right has been debunked time and time again. Hint: there is no liberal slant to the media. Holland is nothing but San Fransico as it's own country. Expect no less.

Your people are extremly friendly though and don't carry the usual hate of Americans. Everyone I talked to lit up with joy when they got to use American english to give me directions.

In europe you often have center right parties which get plenty of coverage like the center left parties. But then you have left parties with odd unworkable ideas, they get ok coverage. And then you finaly have the right parties, which are just plain scary.

EDIT: Oh, and I never said I was rooting for either side, just that the media IS.
