Friend of mine is getting a '80 Camaro, nothing special but it looks good and he's gonna get a 350 (one of the good ones) put in. I was looking at the specs of some 70's camaros and some of them have over 400 (!!) HP! THe guy who's selling him the camaro also has a 350 '69 Corvette for sale (but a bit too expensive for me ). Another musclecar I wouldn't mind owning is the hemicuda.

Sure new cars like vw's may have nice interiors and handling but do they have the raw power and torque of a big american V8? No! I didn't think so!!

Oh who am I kidding I wouldn't want one except as a weekend or summer car but its a shame that only the Corvette lives to this day. Camaro is dead and the recent ones sucked anyway.

YEAH! i was at a local cruise night (hot rods and muscle cars) at the mall, and I was walking by this GORGEOUS 67 Stingray convertible when I looked in at the air cleaner "Turbo Jet 427c.i./435 HP".

My jaw almost dropped.. that is one of the best muscle cars EVER(!!!) IMHO... there was also a 440 69 Super Bee there too... man, sooo sweet these cars are!! :Q

That is, in my opinion, the best car EVER made. Nothing since and will ever be anything like it.

Well, I had a 66 427 Vette Vert but not the 435 HP version. If I could have a 67 now I would take the coupe and not the Vert for the Ultimate!! (Even Zora said so)

Still, performance aside, the 60 FI with 4 speed is my first classic vet choice.

I like the looks of the older camaros/firebirds more although some new firebirds look decent. I love the way the car looks almost like a weapon. You don't see that look in a lot of other cars these days.
