All I wanted to do was put the tree up, throw some lights on it, and let my wife and kids have at it. Hah! The POS mini lights, that were purchased only last year, barely worked. Only two thirds of any of the strings would work. Damn it, I was pissed! I ran up to Walmart and bought six strings of 25 C7 clear lights. Put those on, and they only went halfway up the tree. My wife picked up four more strings of 25, and I got those up. It was pretty bright, so I installed a 600 watt dimmer. Hmmmm, 1,250 watts of lights on a 600 watt dimmer? Argh, had to make another trip to the stores:
