i decided to grab some mcdonald's on the way to school the other day. i didn't have much time and needed to get to lexis training (points++). so i wait on the two guys ghetto-ridin' in front of me, and pull up to the booth.
i get my normal order, hot n' spicy mcchicken and a medium fry. being thirsty, i decide to have a tasty beverage. 'and a large sprite,' i say. seeing that a supersize is just 10 cents more (and that mcdonald's doesn't have a medium anymore, wtf is up with that?), i say, 'make that a supersize sprite.' on the nice confirmation screen, i see 'med fry' and 'large fry.' i attempt to correct the error, which ends up with just a large fry, and still no sprite. i say i want a medium fry, not a large. the person then asks me why i said i wanted a large fry? the person then asks if i want a hot n' spicy combo. i ask if that comes with a super size sprite, and the person says no. being fed up, and running out of time, i decide i don't really want mcdonald's. i leave, letting the person behind me explain that they don't want a large fry.
the moral of the story is: if you've read all this you're a sucker for punishment. (true story, nonetheless. at least the indians mcdonald's is going to farm that work out to will be polite)
