I whipped out a $5 bill about 1 hour prior for a donation, went to dinner and opened my wallet only to find my $20 note missing. I mean, it's not that much, and while I like spending money, I hate *losing* money (like this, or in stocks, etc).

Sorry guys, just needed to bitch about this.. :)

I turned in a 20 dollar bill I found at my dorm's doorway.

Got it back 4 months later after nobody claimed it : )

who the hell calls it a $20 "note"? And you weren't even consistent, you called the 5 a $5 "bill".

I lost $21 a week or two ago, buit I wasn't in a Popeye's, so I guess it wasn't mine. :(

Anytime I lose money like that, i just tell myself that God let me lose it because someone else that needed it more than I do would find it and use it.

dead serious. I actually had forgotten about it, but the front desk called me as they were cleaning stuff out for summer. So I guess I am actually wrong on the 4months part, that was an exaggeration, must've only been around 2-3 months.

Keep in mind this was freshman year...I was young and naive :D
