Damnit!! Was reviewing for a calc test Friday in class and guess I left it under the desk during the review. Hope its there tomorrow, it was a noon class so maybe (I hope) the class hasnt been used since then. That was a TI-89 to, hope its still there. Usually you never get graphic calculators back so my hopes are pritty low. :(

Update: went back to the class where I left it at 7:40am and it wasnt there :(. I am going to find out who teaches in that classroom after my class and hope they found it, otherwise the janitors might have picked it up and put it in a lost & found. Damnit I need it, I have a midterm today!!!

Probably won't be there.

Maybe you'll get lucky and faculty found it though.

I lost my calculator in a cafeteria yesterday.

Losing stuff is always a bummer.

That sucks, because it WON'T be there. It's going to cost a buttload of money to replace, too. Why is it those things haven't dropped in price over the years?

The older Ti-89s aren't really that expensive anymore (I believe you can get them used for under $80).

The new model Ti-89s are quite expensive. I believe they're over $130 still.

Same thing with the Ti-83/84. You can get the Ti-83 used for about $40, but the Ti-84 is going to run you $80+

I have a 8am class tomorrow so I might leave early and check the class. The place where I left it is a small classroom so maybe its not used much, and I was in the back of the room. I believe I put it under the desk in one of those basket things so theres a chance its still there. I dont want to spend money on another TI-89, all my money is for

I've left my 89 more than once in a classroom. I couldn't imagine taking a calc test without it. Both times I got it back though.

lol $80? i have 2 83s...i'll sell one for $50...the only problem is taht this would be my first person to person purchase :) i have an 89 too, but it has a blackish smudge so the screen isn't perfect (somebody pressed on it too hard). it doesn't make looking at the numbers difficult...it's just noticeable.

I know how you feel.

My Sharp EL-510R is my new baby. but "130-120". It was only 10 bucks, but I've never tried to so hard to keep a calculator in my possession. Imagine how I'd be with one of those things.
