damn kids

So I'm sitting here watching the niner game when all of a sudden I hear screech marks then a crash. I run outside to see a white camry has hit the front end of a blazer, and taking off like a bat out of hell. I see 2 kids walking towards me kind of fast, but I didn't think nothing of it. I run inside and call the cops.

It turns out the 2 kids walking towards me were in the car, as they were very quickly trying to get away. So the cops pick up the kids in a neighborhood behind me. Here's a couple pics.

Blazer
4 way speaker

I was gonna take more pics, but the cops asked if anyone had a broom to sweep up some of the glass, so I volunteered. I was pretty bored today until this happened. Hope the guy's insurance doesn't go up because some asshat hit his blazer and ran like a puss.

Where'd the speaker come from?

i'm with this guy.... did it rip the door off of the offending car or something?... looks like only the front of the blazer was damaged (from the 1 pic of it)

It came from the camry. There was quite a big of glass too, none of the windows were broken on the blazer. So My theory is that the rear window broke on the camry, and one of the rear dash speakers came flying out. The tiremarks were more than 100 feet long, so they must have been going 60+.

The replies have made this thread really confusing.

Why did the back window of the Camry break? Was the Blazer parked, or moving? The kids walking toward you were in the Camry? Not the Blazer?

I'm confused.

I don't know if the back window broke. That's my theory. I know a window broke off the camry, because there was glass everywhere, and none of the blazer's windows were broke. The blazer was luckily parked, it got pushed at least 10-15 feet back. I think there was a witness that saw the 2 kids get out of the car. There was at least a 3rd one, because the camry took off.
