Just a moment ago, my 20 month old had finished his breakfast and was stuck waiting at the table for someone to get him down. He screamed the ear-piercing scream that toddlers do to get attention, and I rhetorically asked the question, "Why are you screaming at me?"

A moment later, he scowls at me and say, "Because."

Great. Another one with an attitude to add to the fold. At least his vocabulary is growing by leaps and bounds daily... I guess that's a good thing. :\

Yeah, I've had him reading ATOT over to catch the posts my sarcasm meter misses.
 
This is exactly why I'm not having children.

You should have back handed him across the face and told him to not get salty with you. And since he would have went ass over tea kettle straight to the floor, no need to help him out of his chair. He could have crawled out.
