Damn, just made chili and my finger is BURNING!

I've washed it several times and even washed dishes, but the burning is still there (no, not a burning sensation there). Earlier, I was cutting two huge onions, and I was crying like a baby -- hate that.

Cooking tonight was like a chemical warfare course. :Q Should have worn my mask!

It's gonna be GOOD chili, though!!

It's still cooking -- sloooowww cooking until morning. I'm taking it into work for a chili cookoff/lunch thing.

The poor dog is going to go crazy though. She hates/loves the slow cooker because it smells so damn good, but she can't have any. 🙂

Now the back of my neck is burning, probably because I scratched back there. I would sure hate to get hit with pepper spray.

I know a guy who tells a story about making chili, and how his wife almost killed him when, hours later, her sensitive region bore the brunt of the spices. I guess he didn't wash his hands thoroughly enough either.
