I plan on serving even though I guess I could get out because of summer school... I'm surprised that I got selected so early after my 18th b-day

Oh yeah, and I hate Bush, too. So much so that I'm going to sit right here and complain about it.

SO? Your 18+ you can serve. Don't like the US, I hear Mexico will let ya in.
Really? I had no idea you had to be 18+ to serve . Don't like my ability to express my first ammendment rights?.. I hear Mexico will let ya in.

The jury system is no good: professionals, the lawyers, who generally do very well at impressing amateurs, the jurors. Yeah, if you had professional jurors, with 10+ years of duty, that might work.

Anyway, with all the respect for you, I wouldn't feel comfortable to know a teenager will decide my fate.

Sweet, you can't legally drink but you can send someone to jail.

Nope, hes a college student. Criminal Defense Lawyers and Civil Trial Laywers(for the plantiffs) will do their best to keep college students, but do away with older college educated people. While prosecutors and civil defense lawyers will try and get rid of college students, but try and retain older college educated people, sans teachers. Teachers are the bane of civil defense lawyers.
