Started training for my new position on Monday at 6:30AM. Was in training (videos, paperwork, lectures) until almost 5PM. Tuesday morning we started at 8:00AM with more videos and paperwork. They wanted me to stay until 7PM so I could finish up some training on Harassment issues, but there was no way in hell I was going to watch another video.

Instead I get to go in tomorrow at 11AM for 3 hours of harassment/computer training. Then I start my shift at 11PM. Tomorrow is going to be killer, but since I have to go in in the morning for training I was able to talk them into giving me a spare paid vacation day. :)

You get paid for training, right?

Of course, but I am salaried so the long days make no difference. :(
Sucks, but at least you'll be sensitive to workplace harassment issues after you're done with training.

Hey, honey; look, I know we've watched those dumb videos on sexual harassment and all that nonsense...but I was too busy checking out your fine @ss to worry about the video! :D

Now, c'mere and gimme sum shugga!

me<--has watched 1,934 of those videos...they all suck

Women + Men in the workplace = sexual tension. It's going to happen.

The diff is you need to learn to control yourself and be reasonable. Here's two very good (IMO) examples:

This is sexual harassment:

Me: Jill, go to dinner with me tonight
Jill: No Mike; you are ugly
Me: Grabs Jills ass and says "do me now."

This is NOT sexual harassment:

Me: Jill, go to dinner w/me tonight
Jill: No Mike you are ugly
Me: OK, sorry to bother you (walks away)

Too many women these days KNOW they can play that "Harassment Card" and crucify men. It stinks.

Yep, seen that too. The correct response is to politely say "Sorry Gay Man, I don't swing that way." AFter that, you bust him one right in the chops.

damn i thought the correct response was that you make polite conversation explain that it will happen only if your the pitcher....then laugh and say im only kidding man..then kick him in the nads as you say catch this biatch!
