I'm looking for a VW phaeton.

3 freakin listings on autotrader in a 200 mile radius from Los Angeles

I knew they were rare, but i didnt think they were this rare...

The Phaeton has not sold well since entering the United States in 2004. 1,433 Phaetons were sold in 2004 after Volkswagen responded to initial sales by offering a US$10,000 buyer incentive. Just 820 were sold in the United States in all of 2005, leading the company to announce that sales in the American market would end after the 2006 model year.

it's a phaeton. Very very expensive car that almost nobody bought (very very nice car, though).

You can probably find a taurus, an accord, and two civics for sale on every streetcorner in your city.

i knew it didnt sell well, but damn those #'s are low...

i found a few that has 20-30k miles for ~40k (searching both bay area and LA). Not a bad price for uber luxury vehicle

it's an extremely expensive VW. Thats why it's not popular.
