Got a speeding ticket. I completely deserved it. I was spacing out and according to the policeman I was going 68 in a 40 zone. There is no way I was going THAT fast, but he gave me a ticket for a 60 in a 40. OUCH.
 
That really sucks. I got a ticket last month for going 38 in a 25, the thing is I was but a few feet away from the 35 MPH sign.

However, it was 2am, and there were drunks around so I'm sure they thought that a red shiny car with teenagers inside were doing something, so they used that loophole.

If you were "spacing out", how can you be sure how fast you were (or were not) going?

Because I was not zoned out enough to go that fast. I wasn't COMPLETELY braindead. 🙂

Congradulations for being one of the few who owned up do doing something wrong, getting caught, and owning up to it.

It does suck though. 🙁
