Damn it all to hell! Dropped my cell phone in the potty!!!

Gah! Now the phone dont work. What the hell do I do? BTW, it was at home, not in a public cesspit. I guess i will have "crappy" service now, huh? Damn thing was vibrating and warbling down in the drink

I fished it out with a plunger and cleaned it up with anti-bacterial wipes and scrubbed it with alcohol just in case. Its also a work phone that my company pays for, so I guess its not too bad, unless they want me to pay for it.

I think I am going to dismantle it and dry it all out with a hair dryer and tell them it just stopped working, or something like that!

Any ideas?

Leave it to dry for many days without the battery in it.
It may work, although it may have som eissues. I did the same once (though there was thankfully no business in there), the phone worked, but was never the same after, the speaker kinda died so you couldn't hold a phone convo without hands free kit.

Most phones have a sticker in them that changes color when it gets wet that voids any warranties. Good luck with that though.

Thats funny about the sticker. I just took the battery out and it has a little sticker on it that has turned pink. Thanks for the heads up!
