i'm using a computer here at school, in between classes, the computers my school has are Dell precisions, or something, the business set-up ones. and they got 17" LCD's on them, and it's so much easier to look at an LCD than even my trinitron.... so much better on the eyes... makes me sad :p

oh well... 3 minutes till next class, so a couple more posts, and i'm off :p

I hate going to work because I am stuck on a 17 Gateway Vivitron as opposed to my Dell 18.1 LCD at home. However, the boss just got funding for new computers and I should be getting a 15" Dell LCD.

Yeah, I sold my old Samsung LCD a while back when I was starving/unemployed. I'd kill to get it back now. :(

I got spoiled by my 1800FP that I want a 1901FP or 2000FP even though the 2000FP design is fugly.

Yup. We're moving everything toward LCDs here. No CRT monitors below 19". One person is even using a 20" LCD. That was pretty nice...

I feel you, I recently upgraded to a 1901FP LCD and when I'm at school and work I'm stuck on regular CRTs.

I wholeheartedly agree about the design been fugly. Perhaps their next version of that monitor will be a little nicer, like the 1901FP.

I cannot stand resolution lower then 1280x1024. I just can't go back to 1024x768...:(

When I go home on the weekends from school I'm stuck on a 6 year old 17" CRT and it sucks really bad. Just have to talk the rents into a lcd now, kinda wish the crt would croak already.

I want an LCD, but all I can afford is a 15incher, and I can't stand 1024x768

I have the 2000FP, and yes, it is quite ugly, but the sexiness of the LCD and resolution more than makes up for it. :)

Pics? I want to see close up of that monitor. I was going to buy one but I think I'll hold out for something better. - Will Hunting

I've never used an LCD for more than a few minutes, but so far I don't like them. I much prefer my Viewsonic PF775

I had 20 Dell 15" LCD's sitting in my office a few weeks ago. And I've got a 15" Ultrasharp sitting on my desk at home.

Yea I have the really underated Hitachi on DVI. That thing is so tight for gaming. Only complaint is the colors... not as l337 as the Ultrasharps

Within the next 1-2 weeks I should have a few 1901FP and 2000FP's delivered to me :)

I love my Dell 1900FP. Even on analog it looks brilliant, after hours of staring at the screen my eyes don't hurt.

If I can sell my 1900FP locally for a decent price, I might just keep a 1901FP for myself.

Are you planning to look at your LCD from the back? Cuz most LCD nowaday is at least 120 degrees viewable.

You bought more LCD after 6 2000FP LCD RossMAN???

Do you think you might end up keeping one of those 2000FP? Bigger the better....

BTW, 1800FP design is much sweeter then 1900FP or 1901FP IMO.

Yes I bought a few more after the initial 6 Dell 2000FP LCD's ;)

If I keep an LCD it will be the 1901FP not a 2000FP.

I'm not interested in keeping a 2000FP because:
1) It costs more :)
2) I prefer a native resolution of 1280x1024 rather than 1600x1200 :)
3) The 1901FP looks better than the 2000FP does :)
