Well, just oc the cooler cpu some more and it wasn't the wrong place after all 😉

Sounds like a really nice setup.

yeah, it did cost me a pretty penny. i wanted to originally spend ~$150, but after reading and researching forums, reviews, etc....i kept thinking of better parts. i actually just got a slk-800 a day ago (i ordered it before all this watercooling madness), and my temps were not too bad. running a 2100 tbred @ 2.43ghz/1.85v, 40-41 idle, 50-51 load. i guess i'm always itching to try new things. 😉

i should be able to get a better oc one my wc gear come in, i'll keep you guys posted.

whoa...promie...you definitely got me topped on that one. but you are going to have awesome artic temps 😀
but you did make me feel better by not spending quite as much as you. 😛

i think most of my gear shipped today.

i spent over $800 this summer modding and bulding a cooling system, now that i look back i should have just bought a vapochill, but its the fun of spending an entire summer building it

Hello. Please let us know how this project turns out. I'm curious to see what your temps are vs. what you noise level is; as compared to now, w/air cooling.

i'll keep you posted. i'm pretty excited since it's my first wc setup. i'm expecting to get most of my parts the middle of the week, but i'm not sure how soon i can set it up because i'm heading to colorado to ski for the weekend.
