...to get to the weigh station. Brake lights were everywhere, but incredibly, there was no accident.

Crazy drivers I can understand and tolerate, but crazy truck drivers, well that's a whole other can of worms!

Come to Florida. Only way trucks and cars here do it. They think they are the only ones on the road.

Never understood turning right into left hand lane and left into right hand lane either.

I just came back from Cairo, Egypt. No rules there - cutting across 3 lanes is expected.

I promise you all, when I become supreme ruler of the universe 18-wheelers will only be allowed on the road between 9:00PM and 6:00AM. And then only in the right most lane. And there will be people at every truck stop and rest area who's only job is to hit truckdrivers with large, smelly fish. And the truckers have to take it.

Trucks slow traffic down so badly in the city. Imagine a 1/4 mile uphill onramp to a 65 MPH freeway. Now imagine getting stuck behind a semi poking its way up. <shudder> Brings traffic to a halt. I agree that trucks should be banned from city limits during daylight hours. (Sorry if I offend any truckers here.) :)

As a commercial driver, my personal fantasy is that when I'm working, the only other people out on the road in cars are commercial drivers on their day off . . .

There is a minority of morons operating every type of vehicle on the roads. If you don't already see, understand, and accept that fact as part of a defensive driving strategy and attitude - you're probably part of that minority.

Some people are drivers, and some are just "steering wheel holders".

Most tractor trailer drivers are usually pretty responsible. There are a few idiot tractor trailer drivers but that happens everywhere. Basically these guys get our daily goods from point a to point b. If everything were transported by air and train under todays conditions, the tracks would be clogged with trains and the air clogged with cargo planes, not to mention the increased cost of products. As a general average tractor trailer drivers are better drivers than passenger vehicle drivers.
But once again... There are idiot tractor trailer drivers everywhere.
Though in this case, could of been idiot passenger drivers who wouldn't let him get over for several miles. Never know.

What always pisses me off is the log trucks & semis that pass me doing 20 over the speed limit when I'm doing 10 over. I can out-maneuver them & out stop them, yet they're driving 10 mph faster than me?

WTF are they smoking?

thebestMAX, so true!! Driving on I-75 is just ridiculous! I'll be going 90mph right next to a truck then it will cut right into the lane.. I'm forced to slam on the brakes.. then it will proceed to pass the truck in front of it by going 71mph while the truck in front is going 70mph.

What about all the Georgia @ssholes that go 70mph in the left lane? In FL, the average speed on I-75 is 80mph.. yet the Georgia people always only go 70mph and always in the left lane...

GET OUT OF THE DAMN LEFT LANE!!!
