Wow, just got off the phone with my dad and he told me the following:
My parents are church going people and they have a pretty close group of people there. Well, a new family shows up and everyone greets them with nothing but enthusiasm. They have been there for around 2 months and people are really starting to notice that the wife of the family, lets call her Beverly, is a terrible gossip. She tells everyone, every little story she has heard and holds nothing back.
Well, long story short, everyone at the church is getting kind of uncomfortable around Beverly as everything they say is twisted and misconstrued by Beverly. So the preacher talks to her and tells her than people don't appreciate her gossiping about everyone. Shortly there after it stops.... for a short time. Then it starts right back up again.
Well, my parents recently had a get together to celebrate the birthday or one of the congrigation and their child. So they invite almost everyone at church, EXCEPT Beverly's family as they don't particularly like her because of the gossiping and bad talking she does about people. The party goes over well and everyone had a good time. Well this past Sunday, they notice Beverly's family isn't at church. The preacher calls them to see if everything is ok, and she says the following "I don't feel comfortable around you white people, you are all racist. I heard about your little party a couple days ago! You must not like niggas at your parties!" then she hung up.
So my parents call them to straighten this whole things out. They start by apologizing (I say, they don't have a reason to apologize!) and Beverly says "Well, the only reason I can think of that you wouldn't want to invite me is because I'm black. Not like you white people. I can't stand crackers who have a superiority complex!" (<----Notice the racist comment!!!)
My parents were shocked, as they are quite the opposite. In facts, 2 black families were at the party!
Anyway, I just hate when people use the race card like this. They think just because they are of a certain color, that gives them a free ticket on any ride in town. and if you don't play along, you are automatically a racist. Pure BS!
