Damn I hate some people

It infuriates me that there are certain individuals within the organization are fradulently boosting their sales (Im not sure of the exact way they are doing it) but they have told me that if they're caught they're fired (and possibly jailed/fined). I work at a commissions based job, and it boils my blood that they get almost double the amount of pay I do (I do an honest job, - I know some people here think comissions based sales people are scum, but believe me I am NOT, ask any of my customers, I treat them how I would want to be treated in their shoes.)

The thing is that I dont even think my manager cares because of the fact that they help him hit his targets and some more every month, he gets his bonuses and keeps his curiosities shut. Now I know he suspects something, but keeps hinting at me checking, but wont do it himself. Another thing is that my boss is "whipped" by these certain individuals, they know they help him hit his targets, so rub it in his face. They act like they can do anything they want.

FCK. It just pisses me off and I feel like ranting. Any opinions on this?

Report them if you know they are doing it, even if you can't get proof. Your superiors should put them under investigation

Do you work at the Source by chance?

A few years back at Radioshack, there was a rash of people taking advantage of the SPIFFs from Verizon. The system was setup so in the Radioshack POS (cash register) you could select if you were selling an upgrade to an existing line ($5 bonus) or a new 2-year activation ($20 bonus), and people were always selecting new instead of upgrades. Verizon wasn't catching it, and was just paying out the money. Then they started noticing that the amounts of money going out wasn't matching their new activations, and fixed the system. They just sat on this for a few months, collecting info, then came out and announced that something like 1.5 MILLION upgrades had been processed as "new" activations, each time costing them $15 in bonus cash to Radioshack employees, just in the past 4 months.

Needless to say it got fixed fast, and managers across the country were fired, followed by thousands of sales associates.

So yeah, there's always ways to fake out the system, but chances are someone will catch it eventually, and technically it is fraud.

Nope not at the source, but its something that seems a bit more fradulent than this.... I think an anonymous letter would be best

HR. You won't lose much if these people get fired, and HR is usually pretty good at keeping their sources confidential. Don't let your coworkers screw over the company.
