Damn, I guess it does work better if the CD Audio cable is fully plugged in...

Turned on my comp, & decided to play an audio CD, which I rarely do. First thing I noticed was that it was in mono... Right side only. Hmm... Check the mixers, balance, everything looks good... Then it starts really, really sounding crappy. Like bad reception on a radio. Hmm... Opened up my computer, sure enough: The CDA cable was barely in it's place on my SB Live! Much better. The question is, how the hell did it get unplugged?

Once those suckers are in good, they're IMPOSSIBLE to remove!!!
I had one stuck to my AWE32 back in the day for 2 years. I got it removed by violenty jiggling it.
Utter brutality.
 
My BA speakers went mono the other day. It ended up being the cable from right to left speaker! It took me forever to get them just right and then I moved my speakers so I could get to my microphone and I completely lost it again...
