As some of you may know I cut my L3's on my current 1700 JIUHB to get 2.1Ghz out of an Old KG7 board(see sig).

Now I'm building an HTPC, and I have the A7N266VM. Now this board has NO OC options by default. Only a risky procedure to cut a hard wired bridge. This is supposed to allow the BIOS OC option.

So as I am being a total puss with regard to the bridge cut, I'm thinking I'll just change the multiplier, as before.

I know the CPU in this 2nd box is good for at least 1.8Ghz at default voltage(JIUHB 1.6v default).

Anyone ever done the bridge cut on this Mobo? Did it work?

Anyone think of a reason why the L3 mod wouldn't work with this board?

cutting that connect where the jumper would normally be and connecting to the other contact point with rear window defogger repair stuff is no big deal.
yes I've done it and it works. but it only lets you adjust FSB, you still have no control over the multi.
