Damn fevers update

I had my second 101 and climbing fever last night in less than 2 weeks. They just hit out of no where, and take 1 or 2 days to go away. It was 101 after I took a bunch of pills last night to help drop it. I feel better this morning, but my body is hurting and my eyes burn and I am horribly tired. My stomach is growling but the thought of food makes me ill.

Am I dying?

The doctor said it's some highly infectious virus and sent me off with a prescription for cipro, but my blood is perfect.
But my temp won't go down.

Don't think of it as you dying so much as an alien organism coming to life and being born through gently 'expunging' itself from your stomach.

It sounds like a noro-flu (stomach flu) to me...
I would go to the dr. as having that high of a fever as an adult is not that common....

that isn't really normal

No infection. No scratches. I was fine yesterday, went exercising, I got home about 8 pm and it just hit me. My normal body temp is around 97.4. It just kept rising.

How do you know you don't have an infection?

What kind of infections could I have that were not visible on my body?

there are internal infections, where an organ or part of your body has an infection inside

i would consult a medical professional

If it gets worse again I will. I just want to sleep so badly but I had to come to work.

I recently had a bacterial infection that turned into a 3-day trip to the local hospital. This could be serious stuff dude. Don't fvck with your own health.

I read that unless your fever reaching 104+ there is no need for a doctor. It never got that high.

yea but you said this was the 2nd time in two weeks.
