Anacin is aspirin and caffeine.

A large number of headaches (for Americans at least) are caffeine withdrawal related, so putting a little caffeine (or a lot...) in a headache pill makes sense. Works well, too.

Problem is that it's expensive relative to Ibuprofin at Costco.

Ibuprofin is OK, but Excedrin is #1. I use Excedrin though b/c the price difference is reluctantly warranted....

I never use the cheap stuff as the chemicals used to make these drugs are NOT the same despite what some people think. You can read and compare ingredients in the labels all you want but it just isn't anywhere near the same.
