I have an Enermax EG651P-VE FM(24P) PS for a Dual Xeon system. It was defective right out of the box! :| The supply squeals and pops when turned on! :Q

This one came from Newegg. I would like to get a refund but their RMA process is automated and it looks like they charge restocking fees now. :|

I would rather replace this with an Antec True 550 EPS or a PC Power & Cooling PS which Newegg doesn't carry!

I could just exchange it for another Enermax, but this pisses me off that the damn thing is DOA and could've blown out some expensive equipment!

Anyone recently RMA for refund with Newegg?

Last time I dealt with newegg, there was no restocking fee on defective items. And I wouldn't blame Enermax specifically- that item could have been dropped, kicked, or bashed in a variety of ways on the trip from the factory to you. You're suffering from the luck of the draw, just deal with it.

No they charge 15%. I did one on the website! Screw that! I hit the back button and selected repair and it gave me another RMA for exchange so I only cover shipping back.

If the next one is bad, so be it. These things are cheaply made as most things coming from China as of late. :|
