Damn DHL Driver wrote the tracking number wrong

Mis Delivery slip: 450466966600
Correct number : 45046696660

I was on my way going to pick it up... decided to check if it is there or not.
But the Rep had to research it since the number was wrong.

I went to the office warehouse anyways... I wrote my addy for him to look it up.

Luckily he came back with my APC UPS 🙂

Remember to double check your tracking number for DHL
They need to upgrade to linking DoorTag numbers argh

mini rant

DHL is notoriously awful with packages in my book. Packages are either sent back to the sender with an "Incorrect Address" or "Address Not Found" or they are deliverying the packages to the wrong address and saying they've been delivered to my address. Granted, I live in a relatively new neighborhood (about 2 years old) but both FedEx and UPS seem to find my address with no problem.

I've lost or had about 15 packages delayed due to DHL's laziness and incompetence. I've gotten to the point with Dell E&A packages to either use my own shipper or specifically request Dell to use UPS.

How does DHL even operate? I don't understand it. The last four items that have come to me via DHL have all arrived LATE. The last item, a set of aftermarket side skirts for my car, were supposed to be 3-day shipping. They arrived EIGHT days after DHL picked them up from the vendor! I've had DHL show up at my house at 8:30pm, which I thought was kinda late, until my co-worker said he had a package come after 11:00pm!

I had to call DHL once because they kept leaving messages on my cell phone, asking me what apartment I lived in. I was trying to get a box from Gateway to send a laptop in for repair. Well, I live in a house. I called them back... and waited 40 minutes before they picked up the phone. There wasn't even an automated answering system that puts you into a holding queue. It was just the phone ringing for 40 minutes. Finally, the representative that answered told me there's only 2 people answering their phones at any given time... WTH?
