Rats! Next Friday is a site holiday and of course I am an hourly employee. So that means if I want anywhere near a 40 hour paycheck, I gotta pull in at least 12 hours a day.
Jeebus, I told my parents I had to work that Friday so that I wouldn't be up for Thanksgiving. Even if I did drive up there (while still trying to keep my hours up), I would have to make a six hour drive (distnace to their house from mine) sometime on Wednesday night to get there sometime Thursday morning. Damn, damn, damn.
Flying at this point is cost prohibitive (and it always was, even without the holiday time).
