I got a hand me down laptop from my dad that was basically knackered but i managed to bodge a fix. Now the keyboard has died and i am desperately trying to find one. It is a Chicony MP-98703NM-GB-3542. If i send it back to the manufacturer it is £50 straight up before they even look at it let alone parts and labour. Does anyone know of somehwre i could get this kind of part im happy to import from the US or whatever it takes really. Any ideas? Thanks!

Do we look like a bleedin' computer store to ye? Sod off before I kick yer arse. :p

I'd try eBay, but other than that, you're probably out of options aside from sending it to the mfr.

Most of the clowns in OT don't have any good ideas but they
have a lot of MOUTH :)

You may have to watch Ebay for a long time to find what you are
looking for. It's kind of like trying to find a fujitsu laptop part!

I'm going to chime in and agree with everyone who has suggested E-Bay. Just find someone auctioning the same computer and buy the whole thing as a parts machine.

Wish I could help you more. 'Course, if I had the part I'd probably just try to trade it for one of those British gals whose faces liven up your site. :p

Eh, Stella and Lu are quite fetching. Shame I'm probably a good 4-6 years too old for 'em since they appear to be 17-18-ish. :p
