damn calc teacher

First day of calc and the teacher bunts my TI 89 into the category of "super computer" :roll: and further explains it will not be allowed on any test. I paid $140 for this damn thing back in high school. That was a hot deal too as they were going for $180/$190 at the time.

So now I need to buy a TI 83+ and have 2 graphing calculators. Shamless plug to my WTB thread linked in sig.

I don't think so, unless it changed this semester. My buddy took it last year and used his TI 89

Almost all of the colleges I've heard about will NOT let you use a Ti-89 on anything but homework. In many schools, you will not even be able to use a calculator on tests. In my Calc 2 class, you were only allowed pencil and paper.

Consider yourself lucky that you're getting to use a Ti-83/84+
