Damn bluetooth dongles and ftp sites

I have spent over 6 hours just trying to install my DBT 120 (rev. B3) and it's taking a piss now. I have no idea what to do, because the device just simply does not install correctly, and I'm really frustrated now. :|

On top of that, I'm behind a university firewalled connection, so I can't get what I need to get because D-Link thought it would be smart to put everything on FTP, and no alternatives on HTTP. :|

I asked one of my friends to download one of the files and send it to me over MSN Messenger, and that doesn't work either. :|

I have a Linksys USBBT100 Bluetooth dongle. It will not work with XP SP2, ive tried for hours on my own and with Linksys tech support. BT with XP SP2 is seriously messed up. Ive given up on windows, if I need to use BT for anything, I use my Powerbook where BT works flawlessly.
