I usually use my bike to go from home to the Quincy Adams train station. I go to that station instead of Quincy Center specificly because it's a quieter station. It's mainly used as a parking garage and all the residential areas are cut off from it by a large road so dead beats usually get off at quincy center. I left it there over night friday since I got a ride from work, no biggy I've done this many times. Well after playing sone tennis today I go there to pick it up and this is what I find.... God damn thing was cut right there by a bolt cutter. THING IS there where like 8 bikes there and 3 where definitly better then mine...I had an old mongoose mountain bike. How am I NOT supposed to be racist?

Sorry to hear that, but you don't KNOW the race of the thief.

Bike thieves should have their hands chopped off.

I can't tell what that pic is supposed to be, but I'm guessing it's a cut lock. Sucks that you're bike got stolen, but what's the racist remark have to do with the whole thing? Did you see the guy that stole it? was he of some particular race?

Well you won't get argument from me about racism but a lot of people look down upon it here. Sorry about it all I can say is I hope you have insurance.

*Edit* I know my legs aren't long enough to slip bolt cutters into my pants and walk. *whistles*

Yes I WOULD keep the racist remarks to myself. BUT there was a circle of like 10 black "thugs" hanging around where the bikes are. After they saw me go "WTF" they just stared at me. I KNOW it was one of them or someone associated with them, but I wasn't about to start crap with 10 thugs...

While the OP may not definitely know the race of the thief, if Quincy is anything like Newark or Camden or Plainfield, NJ, then he can make a reasonable assumption as to what the thief looked like. And he'd probably be right.

And he would still be called a racist by the PC crowd of AT.

Just because someone steals a bike doesn't make them a bad person

[Edit] Oh wait, is that not what we're arguing here?

Yes exactly, just today a friend of mine went in a local store and I waited on the side with my bike and his, his was closer to the store entrance/exit. Some PR (figure it out kids, it's a republic of the US) comes out and looks at the bike, so I stare at him and he sees me just as hes going to grab it and he fvcking walks like nothing happened. Then later that same day a group of 7 "African-Americans" (I suppose that makes me an "Italian-American") were hanging around our bikes at another store. I kid you not, and I do not want to sound like too much of an a-hole, but my friend seriously had to talk ebonics with them because they couldn't understand his english.

What does their race have to do with the fact that they stole your bike?

You're ignorant.

holding her bike and talking to another lady... and a group of black kids ran by...
1 grabbed the bike... climbed on and tried to ride on it....
it was too big for him and he fell I think... then he ran
lucky nothing serious :(

BS, naturally we'll feel threatened by different races and I'm sure they feel the same way which may be why we see things as we do.

HAHA I'm not saying that I'm racist, just that something like this tests my tolerance. Guess I'm just more used to a school of 65+% asians then blacks... I'm not used to have things stolen from me. That's why we live in the outskirts of boston. Guess now I have to go to ehte suburbs...

I'm not saying that group of people didn't steal it, but I am saying it's just wrong to assume things. Remember that everyone is innocent until proven guilty? Anyways, what if you and your friends meet everyday at 12:15 at a nearby coffeeshop and you bring your laptops with you to chat and keep tabs on email and so forth, but another nearby workplace gets hacked into and the IT guy looks out his window and sees you guys out in front with your laptops. It's just not right to accuse the nearest group/people that you want to fit the frame to place the blame so that the crime is 'solved' in your head.
