I had read some reviews of them playing in Japan and they supposedly put on a good show but this is AWFUL. I am ashamed to have ever liked them. I need to go listen to see if he always sounded this horrid.

Axel Rose refused to play because of acoustic problems after James Hetfield of Metallica suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns and was rushed to the hospital during their opening set. This led to rioting in the stadium, Vancouver I think it was? I just learned this yesterday on Metallica's Behind the Music episode, and lost a lot of my respect for Axel. :|

Dude...Axl's voice sounded all shrill and weak, and few of the original GNR guys were there. That was terrible. I was happy when "Welcome To The Jungle" was play....erm, attempted.
