Damn AOL to the depths of Hell!!

Ok, ok I know I deserve whatever I get for ever being involved with AOL. I used them a few months back for internet and then tried to cancel...you know the drill. They refuse to cancel and give you a few more free months of service. Anyway here we are a year later and I finally force them to close my account. Now they have my screen name blocked from AIM? When did that start happening? I've used AOL in the past with an AIM name, cancelled and still kept my AIM name. I am mad. My buddy list is gone and it's storming outside. That is all.
 
what i want to know is, how do i stop AIM from constantly popping up ads for dodge, thunderbirds and the manchurian candidate?

I get about 15 messages a week.

I can not relate to your problem.
 
yes it happens, i have friends that had AOL from way back when and recently cancled because Broad band became available, they as well lost their screen names, it didnt used to happen, i think it started within the last year

O and use Trillian
