Twin Galaxies reports that Drew Cauthen, 17, of Carthage, Mississippi has captured the world title on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater for both Playstation and Dreamcast. Drew scored 1,598,233 points on the PSX and 1,444,115 points on the DC.
"We doubt anybody can beat these scores," said Walter Day, Chief Scorekeeper at the Twin Galaxies Intergalactic Scoreboard.

If you think you can prove Walter Day wrong, Twin Galaxies is set to hold another contest to see if any players around the world can beat Cauthen's world record. The deadline to register for the contest is August 31st

those are good scores for tony hawk 1, but in the sequel i would kill him. my best is around 3,600,000 for one level. and it was all on one combo (thank you designers for putting in manuals).

I wonder when the last time Drew Cauthen saw the sun was? Probably 1,598,233 hours ago.

My young bro (14 yrs old) got I think close to 2 million points in the first level (Warehouse). Used to play it non-stop. One of my ex-workmates also got close to that. Doesn't seem that great...
