DAMN AIW Radeon 75000 !!!!!!! Doesn't work with DirectTV!!

man..i been try to get this damn thing to work as a Tivo for my DirectTV..
no success .......
I have an old Sanyo TV, only have the needle kind output
and i have direcTV and a RF modulator

now i was having difficulity of getting the imiage out on my TV,
now i have it on, but the picture is really small and blurry ....
now i WANT and HOPE i can play DirectTV on my computer... any chance ?
anyone know how ? and maybe if i can catpure it too ...
i don't have S-video, and i have 2 DVD player, 1 VCD and 1 Sat. Reciver

And this is how i connect them, wire go into sat. receiever, then one line go into VCR then the other out to TV
so now what should i do to get Direct TV on my computer ?

please help ....i don't want my new aiw doing nothing !! :|

I was going to get an AIW7500 for my DirectTV but ended up with a wintv(401 model)......and use Dscaler to watch TV. I don't know about TIVO functions......and Dscaler doesn't work with AIW cards....just the TV wonder I believe.......I'm using the S-video Input on the wintv to connect my directTV receiver to the card. audio is sent from the DirectTV receiver to my sony receiver which is connected to my soundcard......

I'm sure there are TIVO programs that work with other TV cards......sell the AIW if you can....or go to avsforum and ask around there.

It works fine withe Direct TV, you need to just hook your Sat Dish reciever to the AIW using the S-video in or the composite video inputs, and use the reciever to change channels.

Works great with my Digital Cable box, it'll work with your Dish.

wait, so you can record the directTV stuff on your VCR? You can't just hook up the VCR's output to the AIW?
