Dammit why do they show Sonic ads on TV when there's no Sonic within 3 states?

Ughh why the hell does Sonic do national advertising on cable when they've got such limited distribution. I'm in Rochester, NY seeing Sonic ads just after I got back from North Carolina. Back home I had their new chicken sandwich and an Orea Blast (my fave!) Their service is so great, and their stuff tastes so good. I never have a problem with my food unlike at the other places I'm forced to visit sometimes.

Anyway, I just finished an advertising class and it KILLS me they're paying for national network & cable when they don't even have distribution in the largest markets. Nevermind that its unfair to those of us who know enough to miss Sonic when they can't get it!

ive never even seen a sonic, yet i see comercials for them

i dont think there is 1 in all of new england or updtate NY

there isnt one withing 200 miles of Rochester

Duh, the major oil companies own Sonic!

They want your munchies to be overwhelmingly powerful...so strong, that you'll fill up the stonermobile and go driving however far you must to obtain their belly bombers!

Now get to driving!!

last time I actually went to one was in Kansas. From their website they don't have any in Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin or New York.

Very good food. Their large (extra large?) suicide slushes are practically the size of a small bucket. Mmmm.... now I want to go to a Sonic now.

I see Ruby TUesday ads but I've never seen a Ruby Tuesday.

I see those all the time but the closest one is 150+ miles away in some suburb on Minneapolis.

I dont even think theres a Sonic in the midwest, but then again, I havent been to Chicago or Detroit in a few years

HA!

I bet there are 10 within a 15 minute drive from my house.

Of course I live in Shitsville USA, so I have no other bragging rights.

there are like 2 within an hour - hour and a half drive from here.. one in woodland, ca and one in yuba city, ca.

there is supposed to be one built in Natomas area of sacramento, off 80 on Truxel.

Damn. There's one within 5 minutes walking distance from the house. Sonic sized cherry limeade slush... Oh yea.
